Vivienne Germain is an NYC-based writer, journalist, and copy editor. She is the Copy Chief of Rawhead, a journal of art and literature. She recently completed an M.A. in Journalism (Cultural Reporting and Criticism) at New York University. In 2024, she graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in English and a Secondary Field in French.
Previously, Vivienne was an Editorial Intern at Harper's Magazine, an Editorial Intern at Electric Literature, and an Associate Editor for the Arts section of The Harvard Crimson.
She is the 2026 Grand Prize Winner of the Cleaver Emerging Artists Award (Cleaver Magazine), a 2026 ACES Scholar (Society for Editing), and the winner of the 2022 National Mark of Excellence Award in Cultural Criticism (Society of Professional Journalists).
